We are very happy to introduce you all to Spencer Paul! He joined our family yesterday, August 21st at 6:26PM. He weighed 7 lbs 4 ozs and measured 20 inches long. He, his Mommy AND Daddy all came through the birth experience with flying colors and all are doing very well. Today has been a busy and hectic day for the little guy. There have been lots of exams, tests, pokes and prods. At this point, I bet he is starting to rethink this whole "being born" thing!

Hey, Spencer! Welcome to the world, oh yeah! I'm your uncle Corey but you can call me Toehee on account of that's what your big cousin Krista called me when she first started talking. But anyway, that's a ways off for you. Right now, you just worry about sleeping, eating, pooping and screaming to beat the band at 3 AM. Oh yeah, and snips, snails & puppy dog tails. I live in Minneapolis. You won't meet me for another few weeks but don't worry...you'll have had enough of me by the time this here blog turns one. Just kidding - I'm the cool uncle; the other two on your daddy's side are nerds. You'll see what I mean soon enough.

When you're about, oh, I'd say maybe 9 or 10 years old, don't think you and your big brother can get away with opening your Christmas presents early to see what they are and then re-taping them shut. Your mom will know you did it. I haven't the slightest idea how, but she will. If you don't believe me, just ask your Uncle Colin.
